The guiding concept of the Rob Benzon Dan Ferbal Foundation is to offer individuals, who are not normally philanthropic, the opportunity to donate small amounts of money, which when aggregated, can be used to make a positive impact. We believe people can help create miracles! Through the Rob Benzon Dan Ferbal Foundation Grant Program, funds are awarded to individuals with urgent needs (in response to a catastrophic event) as well as to established San Diego charitable organizations that provide services in keeping with the RBDFF mission.

Our
Stories
In 1999, the San Diego Community lost one of its greatest friends, Rob Benzon. This vibrant and inspirational 31-year-old drowned in a sudden ocean rip-current while on vacation in Acapulco with many of the current board members, which included Dan Ferbal. In 2019, Dan passed away while he was president of our organization. We continue to honor his memory by making donations to some of his favorite Rob Benzon Dan Ferbal Foundation (formerly Rob Benzon Foundation) recipients.
